Systembase have introduced the all new C600ip Audio Codec at the NAB 2011 Exhibition in Las Vegas. The C600ip Codec offers full IP audio capability together with X.21 connectivity. This combination of interfaces enables the C600ip to be used for automated backup of traditional X.21 STLs over IP. Management features include Web browser support together with SNMP interface. The new C600ip Codec is fully compatible with the existing C500ip Codec range.

Systembase announce that a new firmware update for the C510ip Codec is now available free of charge to all users. The latest firmware version, REL 106 incorporates further improvements in performance and operational reliability. Following on from successful demonstrations at IBC 2010 Exhibition, the C510ip Codecs have been trialled on public IP networks by several major international broadcasting companies in the UK, Australia, Japan & Sweden. The results of these trials have been very positive and provide confidence that public IP networks can be used for reliable transmissions when utilising the Systembase C510ip Codecs with Forward Error Control (FEC).

August 2009 once again saw the start of the european football season and Systembase were selected to supply 34 C510xr ISDN Audio Codecs to GlobeCast UK for managing and delivering the international television coverage. The C510xr Codecs are controlled from the central studio via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) using the popular DataMiner management system developed by Skyline Communications in Belgium (www.skyline.be). Systembase have recently launched the new IP Interface Module for the C500xr Audio Codec at the SBES 2008 Exhibition in Birmingham. The IP Interface Module enables real-time audio transmission over IP Networks and enhances the C500xr's impressive list of features. The initial version of the IP Module provides dual G722 audio channels and is ideally suited for OB production communications and commentary circuits.

The codecs were used for live outside broadcast communications and international commentary feeds back to the UK and Australia. BT has recently purchased a further 22 C310xr audio codecs from Systembase. The codecs will be used to provide 4 wire talkback and commentary circuits from their fleet of outside broadcast vehicles.

Systembase has recently won a order for a total of 101 C310xr ISDN codecs to be used for live horse racing coverage within the UK.

Systembase are pleased to announce that over 40 C310xr Audio Codecs have been supplied to a number of major television broadcasters for use during the 2006 World Cup football tournament. The majority of the C310xr Codecs were used to provide real-time audio communications between the Outside Broadcast Trucks and the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in Munich. In addition, a smaller number of C310xr Codecs were located at various television studios in the UK and provided the international live audio links.
